Is an excellent tomato sauce because it obtained from two superior products: extra virgin olive oil and tomato t.o.p. siccagno, typical of western Sicily, variety low acidity. Is a tomato that doesn't flush, for this is concentrated, rich in nutrients but not sour.
The siccagno, precisely because it is not irrigated, is rich in vitamin A and C, as well as antioxidants, and is very flavorful.
